What happened at Canterville castle?
In the English lessons the class 4a was reading parts of Oscar Wilde’s classic short story “The Canterville Ghost” from 1887. The story is about the American Otis family who buys the English estate Canterville castle. What the family doesn’t know is that their new home is haunted by a 300 year old ghost. And so they get to know their rather mysterious flatmate soon.
The pupils’ task was to illustrate a freeze frame to one of the most iconic scenes – the one, in which the occupants find a huge bloodstain on the library floor. The stain can be removed but it appears again and again…
